Military Type Cables
We also supply military cable and harness assemblies to the DoD and prime government
contractors that comform to MIL-W-5088, MIL-B-5087, MIL-STD-202, and MIL-STD-2000 quality
specifications. These assemblies are inspected by the Customer and/or the Government.
Competitively Priced Lay Cables
If strain relief is not enough to provide the reliability and product assurance you
need from your cables, then you should consider Lay Cables. Lay Cables are constructed
such that the stress resulting from angles caused by cable routing or moving units they
are connected to will not fracture the pin-wire inerconnection. Lay Cable absorbs this
stress elimination interconnect fracture. Lay cables also yield excellent signal integrity
because of twisted wires, twisted pairs and shielding inherent in their design and construction.
Hot Stamp Marking & Labeling
We have in-house capability to hot stamp plastic, vinyl, cloth, and leather to your quality specification.
Btp also has the equipment and processes in place to label your cable per MIL-STD-130.
And Product Assurance
The Product Assurance Organization is the first, foremost and final organization to
assure
that circuit card assemblies meet our customers quality demands Our Quality system is certified
to MIL-I-45208. Key elements of the system are MIL-STD-45662, Calibration of Test Equipment;
MIL-STD-1520, Control of Non-Conformance Materials; MIL-STD-1535, Control of Purchase Goods;
and MIL-STD-483, Control of Engineering Changes. The Product Assurance Organization utilizes
Statistical Process Control disciplines to assist Process Improvement Teams in their approach
to continuous quality control enhancements.
